The clock has a handfelted background and is designed to hang on a wall.
(Please note: there will be slight variations to the background design, owing to the nature of felting).
The hand on a tide clock rotates at 12 hours and 25 minutes compared to the 12 hour cycle that a normal clock uses. This is half the lunar cycle of 24 hours 50 minutes which governs high and low tide. (Please note that the 24 hour 50 minutes is an average figure based on a 29½ day cycle. Actual high and low tides may vary due to local wind conditions causing tides to be slightly earlier or later than indicated).
Requires 1 x AA battery (not included)
