I first came into contact with Sue from Pebbles in the Sand whilst on holiday in Wales. Sue had a stand at a craft show at a local National Trust property. We were overwhelmed with the quality and beauty of her work. We purchased a lovely driftwood lamp for our lounge and after nearly 2 years it still looks as good as new and reminds us of our precious holiday memories. Sue was most helpful and went out of her way to meet us with the lamp we wanted.
Recently we decided we'd like 2 oak bedside lamps and remembered Sue and that she had some oak lamps on display when we first saw her work. We tracked her down online and she was happy to help. She didn't have exactly what we needed so asked for our requirements and size we were looking at and offered to make them for us. All in all since contacting her to having the delivery of them it was only around 2 weeks. The beauty of the oak and the quality of how the lamps have been crafted are amazing. We honestly couldn't have purchased anything so unique from a normal store. When we looked on the website we noticed a driftwood boat that we also liked the look of so purchased this at the same time. We'll treasure these items and hope to buy more in the future.
We can't recommend Sue enough. You'll find it hard to meet anyone as friendly and happy to help. She is an absolute delight and if you'd like anything bespoke she'll do it. Post and packing charges are very fair and she'll always keep you updated in terms of progress with your order.
Keep up the fantastic work Sue!

Sue is a very talented artist and her ability to capture nature - even when painstakingly creating felted pictures - is all the more impressive. Her attention to detail shows in everything she does from the quality of the materials she uses to the packaging to ensure her works of art arrive safely. We were really pleased with the oystercatchers and plan to commission her again.

I was so thrilled to meet Sue at an amazing exhibition and see all her stunning pieces of felted art. I love to connect a piece of art with the artist.
Sue's work is totally unique. She draws her inspiration from her love of nature and the use of natural materials from the use of merino wool to wood, and silk threads. The subtle use of colour and her subject matter gives a wonderful sense of calm which was the main attraction for me buying her work. Sue's work is not only beautiful but also tactile.
I have bought a lot of Sue's work from stunning birds mounted on wood, to beautiful little bags, mugs, coasters and her fabulous calendar. The quality is excellent.- Nicky, Oxford
